Architectural Highlights

Chashme Shahi showcases classic Mughal architecture with Persian influences. The garden's layout includes:

  • Top Terrace: Houses the two-storey Kashmiri hut marking the spring's origin
  • Second Terrace: Features a water pool with a central fountain
  • Third Terrace: Contains a square pool with five fountainsWater flows through aqueducts and ramps, creating a serene ambiance .

The garden is adorned with a variety of flowers, including roses, poppies, and gardenias. Visitors are encouraged to admire the blooms without disturbing them

Chashme Shahi is located approximately 9 km from Lal Chowk and 14 km from Sheikh ul Alam International Airport. It is accessible via Boulevard Road, which runs along the banks of Dal Lake .
