The church is affiliated with the Church of North India (CNI), a province of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and falls under the Diocese of Amritsar. It is one of the two main Christian churches in Srinagar, alongside the Holy Family Catholic Church

Originally, only the base of the tower remains from the initial construction. The current structure reflects a blend of architectural styles due to the various reconstructions over time. The church has a modest capacity of approximately 150–250 people, with regular attendance ranging between 75–125 congregants . The congregation primarily consists of local Christian families and some Punjabi Christians residing in the valley .
